How to Get Virtual Care

Adult residents (ages 18+) of Western North Carolina can see a UNC Health primary care provider for mild symptoms without an appointment through UNC Health Virtual Care Now free of charge for those impacted by Hurricane Helene. Using your camera- and microphone-enabled phone, tablet or computer, you can access convenient, secure and flexible care when you need it. Patients can get in line for Virtual Care Now through My UNC Chart. If you do not have a My UNC Chart account, you can easily get one when you get in line. Virtual services are available 6 AM – 10 PM, 7 days per week.

Health & Wellness Education

Take part in health education classes taught by trained, knowledgeable health professionals at the Quest4Life Wellness Center in Lenoir, North Carolina.

Wellness Classes

You'll get information, support, and motivation to help you make changes to improve your health. Class topics include:

  • Weight management
  • Healthy eating
  • Exercise
  • Risk reduction for heart disease, high blood pressure, and certain cancers
  • Smoking cessation

Class flyers are located outside the Quest4Life Wellness Center classrooms.

Children's Health Programs

Another great service at the Quest4Life Wellness Center is the development of several children's programs. Children's programs are offered throughout the year and are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Parents, as well as their children, have enjoyed the benefits a healthy lifestyle through the variety of programs.
