Located inside The Quest4Life Wellness Center and Quest4Life Rehab Services, Caldwell Memorial Hospital’s Center for Wound Treatment is staffed by a multi-disciplinary team of surgeons, physical therapy clinicians, and nurses that treat acute and chronic wounds and their underlying problems through the use of reliable and advanced treatments.
The Center for Wound Treatment will provide the following services:
• Thorough wound assessment and measurement
• Digital Imaging
• Surgical consultation
• Wound Dressing changes using advanced dressings
• Wound VAC dressing changes
• Pulsed Lavage/Jet-ox for debridement
• Sharp Debridement
• Whirlpool
• Ultraviolet treatment
• Compression Wraps – 4 Layer
• Unna Boot compression wraps
• Blood glucose monitoring and vital sign assessment
Conditions Treated at The Center for Wound Treatment:
· Vascular wounds
· Diabetic wounds
· Pressure Ulcers
· Traumatic/surgical wounds
· Burns
· Infected wounds
· Chronic wounds
Ancillary services of Lymphedema Treatment and Diabetes Health Management will also be available.
The Center for Wound Treatment will provide comprehensive wound management and address underlying health issues, providing patient and family education about the wound healing process.
