Radiation Oncology Department at McCreary Cancer Center Earns Accreditation.
As part of the Radiation Oncology Department of Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, the radiation oncology practice at McCreary Cancer Center has received a three-year accreditation from the American College of Radiology (ACR), the most widely recognized accrediting body in the field. Accreditation is awarded only to facilities that meet specific guidelines and standards developed by ACR, as determined through a peer-review evaluation process.
